Development
In the spring of 2020, the Medifood Hungary Innovation Ltd. won a tender with the project
"Covid-19-Antigen Rapid Test Production at Medifood Hungary Innovation Ltd." funded by the European Regional Development Fund and domestic central budget.
The aim „Covid-19- Antigén gyorsteszt gyártókapacitás kialakítása a Medifood Hungary
the production line and create the environment for the domestic production
of the COVID-19 antigen rapid test.
The production site, which was opened at the beginning of December 2021, is capable of producing 800,000-3 million Covid-19 Antigen rapid tests per month, providing a solid base for the production of tests for screening COVID patients. In the future, the modularity of the test site will allow the production of reliable specific antigen or antibody-based tests in the case of any other unforeseen epidemic.
Activity
A Medifood Hungary Innovation Kft. klinikai tápszerek fejlesztése, gyártása és értékesítése céljából
alakult. Ezek a speciális gyógyászati célú élelmiszerek többek között a sebészeti, a tüdő- és daganatos
betegeknél jelentkező „Betegséghez kapcsolódó alultápláltság” kezelésére szolgáló, vényköteles,
egészségbiztosító által támogatott, kizárólag patikákban forgalmazott termékek. Összetételük igazodik
a betegek speciális táplálási igényeihez. Jelenleg hat általános és állapotspecifikus terméke van
forgalomban.
